1. Identity and address of the Data Controller

PITZ AUTOMOTIVE TECHNOLOGIES, S.A.P.I. DE C.V. (hereinafter, "PITZ"), domiciled in Mexico City, Mexico, is responsible for the processing of the personal data it collects through its digital platform (the "Platform"), available in the mobile application and on the website www.pitz.com.mx, in accordance with Mexico’s Federal Law on the Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties and its Regulations.

2. Personal data collected

PITZ collects the following personal data from its Users, either directly or indirectly:

Identification and contact data: full name, address, email, phone number.
Tax data for invoicing.
Financial or asset data: where applicable, information related to payment methods.
Browsing and session data: IP address, browser type, operating system, time spent interacting with the Platform.
Geolocation data, where the User authorizes such access.

Distinction between types of users

The PITZ Platform contemplates two main categories of users:

Customers: Individuals or legal entities that contract a plan for the use of the software as a service (SaaS), in order to access commercial intermediation features.
Sellers: Individuals or legal entities that use the Platform to offer products and/or services through the digital model enabled by PITZ.

Accordingly, PITZ may process the data of Customers and Sellers for specific purposes, according to the type of contractual relationship with each. For Sellers, for example, PITZ may process data relating to their commercial activity, compliance with invoicing policies, performance reports, use of analytics tools, and the location of operations on the Platform. For Customers, processing focuses on the access, use, and payment of the contracted services, as well as technical support and attention to their requests.

3. Purposes of processing

The personal data collected will be processed for the following primary purposes:

Create and administer User accounts.
Provide access to the services and features contracted through the Platform.
Manage payment processing through the payment gateway contracted by PITZ, currently provided by Mercado Pago.
Verify the identity of Users.
Handle support and customer service requests.
Comply with legal and contractual obligations.

Secondary purposes

Send promotional or advertising communications.
Run satisfaction surveys.
Conduct market research and statistical analysis on the use of the Platform.
Assess usage behavior through advanced analytics tools such as Amplitude, Google Analytics, Mixpanel, or equivalents.
Develop personalized features and improvements through the use of artificial intelligence technologies.

The User may object to the processing of their data for secondary purposes by writing to legal@pitz.com.mx.

4. Transfers of personal data

PITZ may transfer the User’s personal data without the need for consent in the following cases:

To competent authorities, in compliance with legal obligations.
To service providers contracted by PITZ to operate the Platform, process payments, or provide related services.
To affiliated companies or subsidiaries, provided they operate under the same processes and privacy policies.
To third-party technology providers specialized in artificial intelligence, machine learning, or advanced analytics, whenever necessary for the operation of the tools contracted by PITZ.

5. ARCO Rights and withdrawal of consent

The User has the right to access, rectify, cancel, or object (ARCO Rights) to the processing of their personal data, as well as to withdraw the consent given for such processing. To exercise these rights, the User must send a request to legal@pitz.com.mx, including:

Full name and a document proving their identity.
A clear description of the right they wish to exercise.
Any element that facilitates locating the data.

PITZ will respond to the request within a maximum of 20 business days and, where the request is granted, will carry out the corresponding action within the following 15 business days. These periods may be extended once, for an equal period, where justified causes exist.

6. Use of cookies and tracking technologies

The Platform may use cookies, web beacons, or other similar technologies to improve the User experience. These technologies collect information such as browser type, operating system, pages visited, and browsing time. The User can disable these technologies from their browser settings, although this may affect the functionality of the Platform.

7. Changes to this Privacy Notice

PITZ may modify this Privacy Notice at any time. Any change will be communicated through the website www.pitz.com.mx/privacidad. Users are encouraged to review this section periodically.

8. Acceptance of this Privacy Notice

Continued use of the Platform by the User constitutes express acceptance of this Privacy Notice, including its modifications and updates.
